Anyone here ever done business with Rich Tuck and his company, The Wall Tent Shop? I'm looking at buying a wall tent, and it looks like he offers a solid product at a good price. Any reviews or opinions?

I am not familiar with the Wall Tent Shop but have spent time in both Montana Canvas and Davis Tent in Denver. When it came time to buy I ended up with a Davis Tent Elk package as the price was considerably less than Montana Canvas. I upgraded to a larger stove, added a rain fly for ember protection, a couple of windows (3 total) a vestibule and a floor. There was a miscommunication and I ended up cutting the stove jack to fit the stovepipe on my first venture with it. Turned out it was unnecessary but they sent me a shipping label after telling me to finish my hunts for the season and repaired it at no charge. I could not be happier with this tent. I’ve spent months in it in sub-zero to 90 degree weather. Using traditional poles it is a simple set-up for one old guy(not so much with the internal frame) I have both and doubt I will ever use the internal frame again.
Just another place to compare.

I bought a set of tent frame angles from him a number of years ago. The quality on them is great. IIRC, I also purchased a set of mantie tarps from him that were good quality.

IMO, an internal frame is far easier to set up solo than traditional poles, but then again I'm not sure I ever really did it 100% correct (the tent didn't collapse so it was mostly correct) in the first place. I can set it up solo with an internal frame in about 30 minutes from the truck to fully staked out.

Dang, that is fast! I am just old and weak. I have trouble lifting the upper frame pole at the corner high enough to slip the lower pole into it with the weight of the tent plus the rain fly draped over it (14X16) Once I get one in it’s not so bad (all the joints are color coded).
The external takes me about 30 minutes.
We should camp next to each other 😅
