My selectivity is directly related to how full my freezer is. Have not shot a forky since I started hunting but if my freezer was empty near the end of season I wouldn’t be opposed.
Same for rag horns. Freezer is happy this year, thank you NM, so I just called for a buddy for archery season.
I also equate spike elk to fork&spike mule deer, always thought most forkeys were 1.5 yr old due to big body size difference to most small 3-4 points but I really don’t know.
