Have a buddy retiring from the Army this year and hoping to find a guide to take us on a Sandhill Crane hunt in Texas to celebrate.

Anyone have any experiences, good or bad, with any outfits down there?

We had a great hunt with Jake Huddleston near Port Lavaca.
Cranes, snows/ross, teal and pintails over a three day hunt.

The crane hunt was done in two volleys; they decoyed great!

Hunt H20 Extreme is what I think his outfit is called now.
He is on Facebook too.

Have had several great hunts with Will Granbury on private land in Edna, TX. Good communication, quality equipment, simple process, and very knowledgeable and capable guides.

Avian Skies Coastal Wing Shooting.

Have a great hunt, we shoot the Sh$t out of them up here. Great eating birds!

RMBS has auctioned several hunts from Final Descent in Harley’s link, some of which have been purchased by board members. All have had great hunts.

I'll third Oak and Harleys' suggestion of Final Descent. I hunted with them and it was AWESOME! Be sure to book at least 2 if not more days for some additional species of waterfowl. Be sure to save time for this place https://www.eviemaesbbq.com/ They sell out so get there early. Adding a pic for all to see. They are big birds and they are delicious!
