I was going through old pics on the digicam and found this one from the big Christmas snowstorm. Boy Number 2 decided he was going to shovel the sidewalk...as you can see, he's doing a fine job! :D They're never too young to start doing Dad's chores! ;)

I remember the days when they actually wanted to help. Ah the memories. :D

That is Cute!!!! Yeah you just hit this time where helping is more of a chore then a treat!!!

My sister hit that stage at 7 years old, My brother and I asked her to get us a drink of water and she looked at us and said NO, Get it yourself!!! It was the moment Matt and I both knew we lost our sibling slave forever !!!

Kinda reminds me about when my kids wanted chores for $. After the first week they started doing them 1/2 assed or not all..."I don't want any money". So now........

They do the chores every day on a schedule! The kicker???? They do them for free!!!!

I got tired of the lame excuses and having my wife do all of the work picking up after them. Now they do the chores for free or else!

Oh yeah. If they want some money to go to the mall or whatnot, Dad will always find something for them to do to earn some money! The funny thing is....now they do their chores religiously without any MAJOR gripes!

Kids...ya gotta lovem! I'm such a mean dad! MUAHAHA! LOL! :D :D
