Ollin Magnetic Digiscoping System

Swarovski Z5

I think most people end up looking for something people will say is best and avoid thing's that simply work. Scopes are a place that really shows! I remember when scopes like Leupold, Redfield and Bushnell were considered really good scopes. Today lot of people pass them up, seems for no other reason than they don't cost enough! have read many times that buying a scope you should pay more for the scope than the rifle! I have a Bushnell Banner on my 25-06 that's well over 40 yrs and still works fine. 2 3/4x Redfield on my 30-06 I got new around 1973 for a 338 mag and it was on that 338, a 308 Win and now the 25-06 all those years; still works great. But it somehow seems these days if you don't Morgage the farm to get a scope, you got junk! I don't get it!

Look through a Swaro, you'll get it.

I've got Z5s on two of my hunting rifles and they're great. I highly recommend you avoid Talley rings with them though.

The Talley rings bent the tube and ruined my scope. There's a thread where I documented it on HT (link) and I found other evidence of people having similar issues with Talley and Swaro scopes.
