My uncle gave me a pair of binos that were manufactured in 2005. I called Swarovski last week to send them in for a checkup and cleaning as the eyecups were messed up. They just had me order the eyecups and then told me they don’t clean optics. Now I just sent my 10x42 els in 6 months ago for cleaning. Is this a new thing or should I contact a manager ?

I have not heard that they no longer clean them. When you call again you will certainly get someone else. What did they say when you told them you just had the service 6 mos ago.

I never told them that . This is the first time I’ve ever had not so great of service help.

I’ve had Swaro clean my binoculars before. My terminology might have been different than asking for a cleaning.

My experience with Swaro customer service has been A+ over four different products. It’s mostly repairing my stupid mistakes.

Around 2011 I sent in a pair of 8x30 SLC binos that the hinge was getting loose, pretty sure that I got a new pair in return no charge. Haven't tried to send anything in for just cleaning, may have to word it differently next time.
