As we approach the end of the current Supreme Court session (usually concluded by the July Fourth Holiday), there are still over 30 decisions to be announced, including many that will impact key regulatory agencies and our (your) 2A rights. With that in mind, Mark Smith, an attorney, author and 2A scholar has posted this review of twelve impactful decisions with his expectation as to outcome. Some of you might be interested.
There are also 6-7 cert petitions that are under consideration for argument with the next sessions that are being considered currently. Many of these are Illinois cases (AWB, Mag Capacity, etc.), but with potential impact nationally. We may hear news relevant to those cases before the end of the session too.
