I try and cut early in the morning before those suckers get active. Also feel better running the saw before it gets super warm in the woods for many obvious reasons.
I usually limb a tree once it's down. I leave a hatchet at the tailgate which I clean up any stickers with. Sucks pulling logs out of the truck with shit hanging up, especially with a topper.
