I grew up near Gettysburg so take for granted that we are so close to many of the civil war battle fields. I have an interest from my mother who was a park ranger at Gettysburg and my great-great grandfather was in the 165th PA regiment.Always thought it worth re-discovering a good history book when seeing pictures like yours. We should all take pause at such places. I’ve never been to the battle fields of the Civil War. Hope to rectify that next year.

He qualified for competition at the College National Final Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming, as Reserve Champion Tie-Down roper and as #1 All-Around Cowboy representing the Big Sky Region by accumulating points for MSU Bobcat Rodeo Team in calf roping, steer wrestling and team roping.

The good news is they are mostly just an hour or two hop to the next one, so you can cover a lot in a few days. I'd recommend Gettysburg, Antietam, Manassas, Wilderness/Fredericksburg/ Chancellorsville, Petersburg and Appomattox.
