Made dinner for the family tonight. Pork chops and baked macaroni with a Cesaer salad and pickled veggies.

Tonight’s dinner. mule deer steak, grilled pork jowel bacon, and salad.

experimenting with new marinades and grilling glazes for wild game steak. this was a huge winner: oil, teriyaki, chipotle tabasco, chipotle powder, garlic powder, smokey pepper flakes, pepper, salt, apple cider vinegar, and honey.

it['s the apple cider vinegar and honey that made it. holy cow. lesson learned though, make enough marinade to have some leftover to boil and have to spoon on to the finished product

also, highly recommend finding yourself some pork jowel bacon.

Whisker biscuit is 1 step ahead of a cross bow which is one step ahead of being left handed

Killed a pile of deer with the whisker biscuit before drop aways were a thing. Wouldn't go back but I wouldn't be afraid to use one either.
