Yesterday will not soon be forgotten. Hunting my brother's WY cow tag, glassed easily 1,500 elk between 6 winter herds, unfortunately none on public in his unit. A herd of 600+ firmly on private is the biggest I have ever seen. Followed fresh tracks for a couple miles, culminating in stalking into 10 yards on a bachelor group of bulls bedded in knee deep snow in thick timber. Pure fun.
