Last Sunday’s annual public land tree murder:

#*^@#* that was a long drag. Pushed the truck till this nasty hair pin above that no one had made it up, then hiked another 1/2 mile, cut the fullest Xmas tree we found (still miles and several thousand feet below nobles), I'm generally a tree snob both for Xmas and firewood, but after getting home and scrutinizing it, I cut a GD doug fir... f me. Epic fail. Might as well be back in WY.

Knee is still working. Lever gun turned out to need some repairs so will have to wait for next season.
