Cause I live in NC where snows fall and melt before the end of the day and there has been a lot of rain this spring.

Good 'ol days MSU Spring Rodeo returned as the dirt was again moved into the Fieldhouse and MSU Bobcat Rodeo Team hosted the spring event the past few days. The place was packed as tickets sold out and the electrical excitement of rodeo returned to campus.

Grandson Bode qualified in two events, so competed in the short-go performance on Sunday in steer wrestling and calf roping (tie-down). Saturday night at the performance Bode got down on the steer but it rolled, taking him with it. He is quick to adjust and move physically, so he held onto the horns, jumped up, and slammed the steer down for a respectable time. However, the tumble hurt his ankle and the steer's horns gouged his groin and tore a hole in his pants. Sunday the trainer taped up his ankle and he competed, only to draw a fast steer and missed the horn catch as he exited his horse. However, he caught his calf and tied it in good time so took fourth in the tiedown calf roping.

Up in the center of the fieldhouse is the big screen all around and the competitors are shown prior to each of them competing, with short videos featuring the Bobcat team members. In Bode's video he points then does the "phone-me" sign which we think is for his girlfriend to call him.

Took advantage of the little dusting last Sunday to work the Rzr up the ridge (too rocky/sharp without the snow) and snap a few pics. The reservoir still is a puddle right now!
