Another one featuring @Sawtooth and Rudy the good boy. It took my youngest son a whole 5 and a half days to ask when we'd be taking our next trip to the mountains. I think he's been bitten by the same bug that got me.

I'll be reliving that week for months in this thread, unfortunately, as I have not acquired any western big game tags this year. Good thing there are an abundance of whitetail around these parts.
 
Did a hike on Wednesday , explored a tiny meadow, the Roosevelt’s are in here all the time

found a dead deer or young elk on the edge of the meadow , I looked around for the skull and found several bits and pieces of the jaw, it’s been there a long time

found a lizard 🦎 sunning it’s self on a logging road and caught it
