Sunday Pic of the Day

Makes me think of two lines in “ The Wreck of Edmund Fitzgerald “

“ Lake Huron rolls, Superior sings in the rooms of her ice water mansions. “

“ Superior it is said never gives up the dead when the gales of November come early. “
It is so true. Where this photo was taken in post # 1231, there was a couple that were washed off of it during a much bigger storm. They found him a couple of days later. They never found the women. That is just one case backing that line in the song. I will be posting more storm pictures in the "Pics and More Pics" thread. Not even the gulls go out on the big water when it is like this. They come and find some quiet water or beach and face the wind to ride the storm out. "REO Speedwagon- Riding the Storm Out"
