Here's an "are you shitting me" moment. We have 6 road damage areas from the floods last month. 1 in Alameda county, already repaired. 1 in Stanislaus county that took it an entire lane and moved the creek where the road was for 150' , already repaired. 4 slides and washouts in Santa Clara County. 2 of the slides are waiting for geologic surveys and engineering. 1 washout they haven't even got a contract for yet. The biggest washout in the pictures was held up for 5 week because the stupid ass head of Roads and Airports cancelled the repairs trying to get FEMA money. He didn't know there was no reasonable way around it and that it wasn't passable. Our detour adds 4 hours and 100+ miles to a trip to town. This stupid shit didn't know that the county was supposed to make whatever repairs then submit to FEMA. We're surrounded by idiots. BTW the road won't be open today as the county is waiting for the COUNTY INSPECTION to open the road back up.They say another couple days and we get our main road back. It's been a 100 mile detour since January 6.View attachment 264390View attachment 264391

Earliest our crocuses have ever bloomed. To say it's been a mild winter is an understatement.
Looks good. I just took two venison backstraps out of the freezer this morning. What’d you stuff it with?View attachment 264493
