Spent some time at the range today. My girlfriend shot her first center fire rifle. I finally got to run a through rounds through the new 700 mountain ss, and my 16 y.o. cousin got some valuable range time shooting her rifle wrong handed.

It was too windy to go out Saturday so we went yesterday. The halibut are still biting at Santa Cruz Island

There’s no keeping this dog out of the water either.

Her legs were completely stained with mud prior to this picture. I often let her ride in the truck but after this trip it was a mandatory wash and dry off on the ride home in the kennel. She was still more concerned about hunting than cooling off.

My clay throwing experience ended at Swope Middle School.
Mrs45, whose father was an art and ceramics teacher, says you must be damn good to get something that tall. When the new shop gets built I hope to get her dad's wheel set up for her.
