Shot this banded mallard in northwest Wisconsin. She was banded in 2015 near Smith Mills, Kentucky. Hatched in 2014 or earlier. All the other banded birds I've ever gotten have been locals

Crispy. I have done the same thing on a bull one year. It was my wife's bull to. But, I blame her haha I had to go to work (for her), I told her she just needed to shut the gas off in about 20 minutes. 5 hours later I come home to a sight just like yours.
