After almost two years of planning and many posts here on what I needed to get prepared for this hunt I was successful tonight. Thank you! It was more than I could have imagined. Flat lander from Michigan old as hell climbed the steep hills and put one in the bread basket at 150. Never forget it and hope to come back.

Congratulations!

Are you able to savor the moments, or perhaps are already scheming how to make the next trip happen?

Sweet!! Nice Elk. You look about my age!!! Leaving for my first Elk hunt in 30 days. All these posts keep getting me pumped up.

I am sure it was a blast!!! Safe trip home.

At my age I always thought this might be my only trip west but I’ve got to come back. Thanks! We had a 78 year old in camp this week. I think I’ll do it again.
