I found a non-ported aftermarket tube for my brother's BAR. Sure has made a difference. I shot that the ported version once prone on the side of a coulee and suffered permanent hearing damage. The "improvement" in accuracy seems to be debatable.

Yes I got one of them as well after a kid at the range asked his dad if there was something wrong with my rifle. LOL. I never played with the adjustment other than to set it initially to the suggested setting for my ammo. It shot good enough for me so I left it be. As far a accuracy I took it completely off once and shot it. It made no difference I could tell.
