Stuck Outside Harbor

Got my largest halibut on the west side in the 80's. 26lbs.
Lots of yellowtails and barracuda. Barracuda ceveche is killer.

Surfed and fished San Clamente with an old fisherman back in the 70's.

I private charter the Cobra 4-6 times a year, I'm very familiar with that harbor and it's captains.
Hopefully you didn't get skunked today, it'd be insult to injury

We were swordfishing and we did get skunked. That happens a lot when swordfishing It’s either an epic battle or a llloooonnnnggg day and this was the latter. Last weekend we got halibut and white seabass and next weekend we are going down south for bluefin. We’ll get em then!

yah the deep-drop is either a zero or hero day. It’s such an interesting fishery too.

The daytime fish south of you have been biting a lot more the last week, so hopefully you guys get ‘em.
