Hard to beat "The Quiet Man" with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. I've probably watched this movie 25 times since I first saw it as a preteen at the drive-in from the bed of my Dad's stake sided pick-up.

Not a movie, but Band of Brothers hits hard, with the talk from the real guys who were there.

You can go on Netflix right now and watch The Peanut Butter Falcon. Need a willing suspension of disbelief but it's a good 90min watch...even has an old beat up 870 that features heavily.

I read a lot here where everyone has their music stuff, etc. I thought about starting a thread about movies that have a story. They don't make these movies like this anymore. What I mean is movies from redford. His acting sucks but the guy is a story teller (spy game, gerimia johnson, horse whisperer, the natural). to movies that are ....(my favorite the good, the bad and the ugly .... three dudes chasing gold with no chick shit and the best score ever in movie with the most iconic shootout ever.) I guess I want to hear about great story telling movies..... scenes like christefor walken and dennis hopper in true romance, the opening in inglorious basterds, just movies that you want to watch again and again. Even christmas vacation!!!!!! It just seems like there no good movies anymore. Change my mind!

I have never seen True Romance, but I've watched the whiteboy scene day on youtube about a million times.
