Idaho WSF has launched their summer stone sheep raffle! Tickets are selling fast with 100 sold so far today! These stone sheep hunts just keep climbing so raffles are a great way to give a guy a chance to hunt and raise funds for conservation!

I went to the NWT for Dall sheep and caribou in 1986...

It was 5K for a 12 day hunt.

Dollars were worth significantly more 38 years ago than they are today. I could go back to 1986 and get 640 acres of land around Bozeman for less than $100K too

Got my Dall in Alaska in 1972. Outfitter fee was $2250. I saved for 2years to go. Just blown away by todays prices.

How do you know which raffles have taxes and which ones dont? I dont see it listed on IWS’s webs site.

That $25.5K tax bill is still gonna sting

I’m not hating on Idaho WSF or sheep hunting in general. I’d consider parting with my left arm for a chance to hunt Stone rams. But when the vast majority of hunters can’t even afford to win the raffle, you know something has gotten out of hand.
