Dropped off my Howa 1500 270 at the gunsmith for conversion into a 280AI.
Got the barrel and trigger figered out.

In his safe the smith had an adjustable cheek piece, carbon fiber/synthetic YOUTH length LOP stocked rifle ( it pulled out to nornal length). Adjustments were made by pushing in a recessed button. No markings on it. And he couldnt remember the name of the manufacture.

Does the brain trust have any idea which one it might have been?

Thanks!

If the stock is laminated wood with kinda angular pieces at the pistol grip and forestock it may be a Boyds AT-One.

Pictures would surely help with identification though.

Not the blackhawk. Its not a chassis system.
This would be much easier if he'd ever send pics lol.
Thanks.

Thought i found it - Manners Composite TF4a but they dont do Howa long actions.
Heavy sigh
The search continues.

FWIW they very well may. There are lots of things they can and will do that their website doesn't indicate clearly if at all.
