Sporstmans Warehouse, What Happened?

The one in MSO is still pretty ok. My major complaint is that their entire gun department seems is heavy on the tacticool stuff. I don’t think they had a single O/U shotgun when I was in with a buddy about two weeks ago.

Got to be that store. Over the past decade my experience has been almost entirely in the Albuquerque Sportsman’s which is doing just fine. Reloading, they used to have primers behind the counter and now out on the shelves, whenever available. Powder they have an inconspicuous binder with what’s available penned and then numbers crossed out. It’s sloppy, but easier than Cabelas because you know the inventory, don’t need to harass an employee to go look. Like eight years back I went to the awesome sauce Anchorage Sportsman’s and that blew my mind. Also shopped in the Mesa and Columbia stores. All of them had what I needed.

I thought that Cabela's had bought them, but I guess that deal was terminated in 2021. Still, ABQ store isn't bad

I remember that falling through and brought it up to a cashier. She was so happy the deal hadn’t worked and could continue with the same company. I suppose that’s a nod to the way they respect employees there too.
