I had more yotes on camera than ever, these are just a few. Crazy.

You have by far the best trail cam pics of any I've seen. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome pics Drahthaar.
What're the big tracks on the road? yours or that bulls?

Great pics - thanks for sharing...

Just wondering what kind of camera your using that takes such nice pictures ???

I use 2 (IR) Stealth Cams - below is from one of them. As you can see, they are black & white and not nearly as clear in cold weather.

Bucnutz, I use homebrews. They just take such nice pics, plus its fun to tinker in the dead of winter and build them.

Randy, those are elk tracks. That cam is set high up on a tree where the road bends around a creek, lots of stuff moves not only on the road but in the thick creek bottom. Two weeks ago when I set the cams, there were elk tracks everywhere, this time I only saw one or two fresh sets.

Sounds like a good spot. I set some up the week after rifle season got over, and went and picked them up a couple weeks ago. Was really hoping to get some wolf pictures.

Here's a picture I took on the way to pick them up, those are indeed wolf tracks, two sets.

They didn't walk in front of the cam? Or was this not near the cam.

What I find interesting is how much everything is using the roads, even though there is basically no snow in the woods. Makes me wonder about the FS obliterating miles of old logging roads at the cost of millions to taxpayers for bears' sake. I bet if they asked the bears, the bears would say WTF are you doing?? Leave the roads!! These predators love cruising roads. I have one cam set to video, but I only have deer on it so far.

Its kinda hard to see but my cams hanging on the right side of the big burnt pine.

I hunt right in the middle of old plum creek country, that's in the process of having all it's roads reclaimed.
It's also insanely steep country. It's crazy how often they use the roads for trails, mule deer and wolves especially.
This pictures from rifle season, the tracks on the road are from about twenty head that moved in the night before, followed this road for about four miles before catching a ridgeline down.

Makes shed hunting easy though, just cruise the roads and pick them up.

THose first two or three pictures look like they are very fresh wolf tracks with the wolves still in them. Aren't those wolves?

Always fun to check out your photos.

Gotta get yourself one of those big dogs next year...
