SOLD-WTT Remington Model Seven Stock w/detachable magazine

Not sure if anyone would be interested but I figured I’d give it a shot.

I bought a model seven kuiu and it had been converted to a detachable magazine. I prefer standard bottom metal on a hunting rifle. I’d prefer to trade this to someone with just a factory stock (standard contour) but I’ll list it as a straight sale if no one is interested after a week or two. I took it apart so you can see the inletting on the stock and to check to see if there was any brand indication, there’s not.

I have Model 7's but am not interested in the swap. However, listing the caliber might help you. I suspect that the gun is either a 308 or a 6.5 Creed. A place to look might be the big auction site, but Mod 7's don't pop, up real regularly. Best of luck; I too hate protruding detachable magazines for hunting.

That looks like a factory stock.

Are you wanting to trade the whole rifle or just the bottom metal? I don't think a M7 was ever made with factory detachable mags. So the bottom of the receiver is uncut and will accept std bottom metal and mag box. It would be as simple as getting bottom metal, mag box, spring and follower, and bolting it back together.

That said totally understand wanting to swap the whole rifle. Probably be cheaper than finding bottom metal and parts. You'd be into $200, and might get half that for the detachable set up.

You are correct, it is a factory stock.

The detachable magazine bottom metal was added after the fact. The stock had to be slightly inletted and leaves a small gap at the top of factory bottom metal.

I’m hoping someone may be interested in swapping their factory stock for this one.
