That sucks..........

..........that you have to live in Casper. :)

Just kidding, I like Casper, just too windy for me. I was in Kalispell all week and it was nothing but blue skies. I heard Gillette got hammered bad.

We hunted south of Casper for lope. We filled our two tags and got out of the area. My buck looks a lot bigger now.

I was sitting in Eggington's last Saturday complaining to my dad about the muddy roads. Glad we didn't bail and try to come back up this weekend.

Did you lose any power during the storm?

I was supposed to leave for the Casper area for antelope in the morning. We have pushed leaving back until Sunday, but even that will be interesting. Hopefully we will be able to get around without snowshoes.

we lost power for about 3 hours Friday night. I know there are a lot of people without power still. The closed the schools down because there was so many trees and power lines down. Good luck getting to you hunt area i know a lot of roads are closed down right now. Hopefully will be opening up soon.

this site might help you all out. good lucky everyone and drive safe!

Thanks for the update. I will be checking that map hoping the roads actually open, then hopefully we can get around some once we get there.

I think Casper got more snow than we did but we did lose power last night for about 6 hours up here in Buffalo. Up on the mountain the snow was over 2 feet. That will be a game changer (no pun) for opening day on the 15th.
