Snipe were the order of the day

came up 2 short of a limit on a short trip to the marsh. Gave the ducks a pass today this late in the season. Going to be looking for wood ducks from here on out.

There are a lot of options actually. Treat them like doves is easiest/best most of the time. When in doubt Hank will have some inspiration.
This was a deboned snipe stuffed with goat cheese and topped with bacon.

6 is apparently my lucky number. Nice to be out even though duck season has ended. The snipe continue to be thick. And the ducks were everywhere. Yeah they know.

I'm paddling one of the places I duck hunt and flushing them off mud islands floating in the marsh. So, yes I am jump shooting them out of the kayak
