Slugs in a Smoothbore?

If you decide to try 3" slugs, prepare yourself!

I always used 3” Remington magnum copper solid slugs out of my 12g 870. My god that is a miserable gun at the range. I would shoot a box of 5 every year before season started to verify it was sighted in. I hated every shot. Extremely deadly combo though.

I would have stopped after 2 or 3! I switched to 3" because my buddy would always run out and borrow slugs from me, then proceed to shoot 3 times at crap to see where he was hitting. Felt good to say mine wouldn't fit his gun! Then I later switched to my muzzle loader and never looked back.
