Sightmark Wraith 4K Mini 2-16x (Digital Night Vision, not the Thermal)

A couple of thoughts

1 is to talk with schmaltz about AGM thermals. Depending on the range you are thinking you can buy a thermal for similar money. The more expensive the thermal, the longer your recognition range will be. If around 100 yds a cheap thermal will be great. If over 200, then you need to spend money and maybe a NV is better. The recognition range is no joke. Hard to tell what the shape is when the picture is grainy.

2, I've heard great things about the sighmark. It was my second choice behind the Pard that I got. The built in rangefinder made a huge difference. They also offer a 950 wave length light which is harder for the animals to see.

3, what I did was to buy a cheaper thermal with a quick detach mount that can go on a gun or be used as a hand held. Then bought the NV to use as a long range shooter. It's a decent setup but not perfect. Saving money to upgrade. Plus with two boys going, I'm getting tired of sitting in the dark listening to them.
