Shi$$er's Full - Call Congress (Fresh Tracks Weekly)

These videos and key points can’t come fast enough. DOGE and friends are moving at warp speed and I expect the gutting of my natural resource agency to begin in earnest in 2 weeks. The previous probationary dismissals were just the warm up.

Very well done Randy & Marcus!

@Big Fin I am not sure I share your optimism. I don’t think there is enough awareness on this issue, especially as you point out this has evolved over and taken such a long time many were not alive or old enough when it started. Especially East of the Mississippi. Heck I grew up in Ohio and never knew of the state transfer of those lands until I watched your episode. Even if there was greater awareness I often think of the vast majority of citizens that don’t utilize, and hence don’t likely value as high as many of us, these public lands. I can now easily see how these can all get sold off. Just as you ask multiple times, “is it really about better land management?” I’ve also been asking “is it really about balancing our national budget?”

One of the comments mentioned using these lands as a tool to pay off our debt. Combining both of these misleading directives I can see a day when this could be great fodder to use and a scenario that most would end up supporting land transfer/sales under the guise of “better management.”

I hope you can get on Joe Rogan or a bigger stage to share these ideas and issues with non-public land hunters as it will take more than public land hunters and campers to keep what we have. You are truly gifted in speaking on public lands. Thank you for all you do.

I guarantee they're not answering the phones anymore either. They don't care what we have to say. (n)

House Republicans Hit the Brakes on Town Halls

“House Republicans are becoming weary and wary of in-person town hall meetings after a number of lawmakers have faced hometown crowds angry about the Trump administration’s push to slash government programs and staffing,” NBC News reports.
“Party leaders suggest that if lawmakers feel the need to hold such events, they do tele-town halls or at least vet attendees to avoid scenes that become viral clips, according to GOP sources.”
“A GOP aide said House Republican leaders are urging lawmakers to stop engaging in them altogether.”

They don't listen or engage with their voters they are gonna FAFO, French style.

We are in trouble folks.

Joe Rogan is a pretty good idea. He seems to be for public land and obviously hunts.
He’s been an echo chamber for DOGE and the far right of late; the last episode I tried to listen to I made it a couple minutes before I had to find something different

Ever seen him hunt public land. He generally acts like a whiny little snob the whole time.

Probably why he hunts high dollar places where they coddle him the whole time now.

He does have a reach, but i don't think he's going to be in any way helpful for public lands.

It's fine to say so and so isn't going to help, but who do you think will help?

Fwiw, I don't really listen to him, but I'm not sure anyone can get the word like out like he could.

Asking a celebrity or influencer or politician to help us is THE problem. Until people learn to help themselves we're all screwed. And that ain't gonna happen when most people can't even see what the problems are because they just think what they're told to think and say what they're told to say.
