Does anyone have recent experience with Sheep feet custom insoles? I’m particularly interested in durability, since they are pretty expensive. For background, I have big (size 15) relatively flat feet. I have a pair of custom orthotics made by a podiatrist some time ago. I normally put that orthotic on top of the factory boot insole, but on the last two pairs of boots I bought that makes the fit too tight on the top of my foot. So I am looking for a full length custom insole. I know others have had good experiences with Super feet, but I don’t know how much luck I would have getting those in my size.

I usually pull my factory insoles out when I buy something else to use. Haven’t spent the money on sheep feet yet

The only problem I would have is my custom orthotics are not full length. If I pulled out the factory insole first, I wouldn’t have any cushion under the ball of my foot.

I have sheep feet and love them. For me they are pretty similar but slightly better than superfeet. My Dad is in his mid 70’s and has terrible feet and swears by sheep feet. He literally wears Schnees Beartooth with sheepfeet as his everyday wear and they keep his feet in ship shape! If you have an HSA or FSA can pay with those as well.

I have a pair and have them in my schnees. I really like them. I have super feet in my work boots because those are a bit narrower. The superfeet were a little to narrow up by my toes for the schnees and could feel the gap under foot. Both are good products but I think the sheep feet are a better fit and a better product.

I have a few pairs, they work pretty well, they are thick enough they do make a tighter fit in your boots so depending on your current fit it is something to be aware of. There are lots of companies in this space, I think Lathrop & Sons will make one for you, so you can shop around. Don't forget you can use your HSA/FSA too.
