Seekins PH3 7 Back Country

Fwiw I just got back home from the wild sheep show in reno. I stopped by and talked to the folks at seekins and must say i was impressed with the new stuff. Also they seem like a great bunch of guys which makes a person want to support their company.

I ended up ordering a hunter element as I had previously been eyeing the slam. They thought I'd probably be seeing it sometime in March

What made you go with hunter element over the element? The chassis? I’m between one or the other.
Yes just the chassis, like being able to fold it up and strap it onto my pack, keeps it nice and compact. It will be my go to rifle for backpack hunts but probably won't be using it on day hunts.

The element is a great gun also and if it were a gun that a guy may use still hunting through timber or something to that effect I think it would be better with the more traditional stock.

If you don't have a need for the folding stock then the element would be my choice.

Appreciate the insight. I think I’ll go with the element, as I will use this gun in many scenarios (treestand, out west, ground blind)
