I spent yesterday scouting antelope in Wyoming. This is the best buck I saw. I have no illusions of him being a big buck, I just like hearing other people guess scores. What's your best guess? These marginal pictures are hard to use, but give it a try (even those who have already guessed by PM;) ). Maybe BuzzH or I will ground check him in 5 weeks and see who was closest.

Nice looking goat.... I'd venture a guess of somewhere from 77-79, but its hard to tell. Love the length on the cutters....:D

I'll defer to sneak's estimate....since all the frick he ever does is eyeball critters.:D

79"
I don't know crap about scoring lopes, but he looks like a good one to me.
Fairly tall, good deep cutters, and the curl on the tip should adda an inch or two

Good looking buck oak. I would guess somewhere around 73"-74". He has great mass on the bottom half of his horns but fairly light on the top half. Great diggers and decent length, I'm guessing around 14". Why didn't you take your bow and shoot him already? Hasn't archery started up there yet?

Thanks for the pics and good luck smoking a biggun.

So long as we are wagering here... I'll throw in a guess.
Left horn: 14 2/8, 6, 6 4/8, 3 6/8, 2 6/8, 4 7/8 prong
Right horn: 13 6/8, 6, 6 4/8, 3 6/8, 2 6/8, 5 2/8 prong
Gross:76
Net: 75 1/8

Why not chase that fella with a bow Oak? I head up to WY first of the month to try and stick one, and if that doesn't work then I can seal the deal during rifle season.

For the record, I'm going with a guess of 77". Not sure if we'll kill him or not yet. We'll have to see if we can find anything better.

IB, my bow is 25+ years old and I haven't shot it in 19 years. The critters are safe during archery season until I upgrade.

Here's a buck killed in the same area two years ago. How do you think they compare? I think the live buck has shorter prongs, equal or just a little more length and maybe a little more mass. The prongs look like they come off higher on the live buck. Pictures are deceiving, though.

Hmmm, I cant judge lopes for crap, all i can say is I'd shoot that one too!

Nice Buck! It looks like the live buck has thicker bases. Oak, do you know what that other buck scored?
