The Wisconsin DNR has set a date for the return of wolf hunting season in fall 2021

Wisconsin law requires the DNR to hold a wolf hunting and trapping season when the species is not protected. A new management plan is in the works.

Some good news! I reckon a lot could happen between now and November, but WI law says wolf hunting and trapping starts up once delisting occurs.

Never trapped before, but just might give it a whirl this year before they get too educated.
