What: Montana Bowhunters Association 36th Annual Convention
Where: Best Western Heritage Inn, Great Falls
When: March 28-30
Hello fellow sportsmen & women – It’s that time of year again, and we’d like to invite you to take part in another great event. Our area volunteers have been working hard since last year’s fun in Missoula. Things are coming together well, and we have some great items again this year. We’ve got seminars planned with Dr. Amy Lepage, Tony Bynum, onXmaps, and the Montana Trappers Association. Lots of games and raffles to take part in, as well as a fine dinner and live auction if you decide to make a weekend out of it. Can’t make it? Not to worry, this year we’ve opened up some of the raffles and drawings to online sales! Our moose hunt, bear hunt, pistol raffle, wall tent (complete with frame and wood burner), and our bow raffle are all available online. We also have binoculars, packs, Sitka Gear package, targets and many others you can try your luck on. If you are planning on coming, you can also pre-purchase your banquet dinner tickets online. By doing that early you’ll save a few bucks and also get your spot secured. Folks making the trip will be able to take advantage of all the aforementioned raffle items as well as many additional silent auction and live auction goods. These include high end custom knives, original artwork, ready-to-hang prints, 50” flat screen TV, custom metal work, Alaska fishing trip (airfare included), handmade wood products, GPS, pack horse rentals, and much more. A big thanks to all our donors, and especially our banquet sponsor, onXmaps – the MBA could not continue if not for all of the generous businesses and individuals that support our mission. The website will continue to be updated with information, so check back often.

The convention is nearing and a few updates to keep in mind:
1) CHILDCARE - If you would like to take advantage of this, please RSVP by calling 461-2792 or emailing [email protected] - leave a message with the number of kids. We'd like to get a rough head count so we can plan on space requirements and helpers. $20 per kid from around 5PM - 11PM.
2) PRIZES - We've gotten some more great donations. Kenetrek donated a pair of Mountain Extreme boots -- $455 value Buffalo Jump archery in Helena has donated an Elite Answer Bow -- $890 value Bozeman Artist Greg Scheibel is currently painting a piece to be auctioned off OnXmaps has donated a Garmin GPS + Hunt MT chip - $700 value Stone Glacier donated a Terminus pack - $609 value And many more fantastic items --- THANKS TO ALL OUR SUPPORTERS!
