Rough Hunting Year

I read this article and it confirmed what I think most of the western states are seeing. I think it’s going to be a rough year to get tags and a rough year even if one obtains a tag.

My observations are similar. The thawing and freezing cycle we've experienced in the upper snake region of Idaho says it's a bad year. Lower your expectations. Sit it out if you hunt with a measuring stick
