Texans that hunt like this have too many fat cows rubbing up against their oil wells. Like anywhere else, it only takes a few to make'em all look bad. Most guys I know can't keep up w/ these guys... And most Texans I know are pretty decent folks...

sytes...those do make ya chuckle...thanks for postin
bio bo...I hear ya...and you are right, most Texans are pretty decent folks...I have a couple of huntin friends in TX...and none of them are close to this stuff.
btw...theres a few of these in every state...hidden within high $$$ hunt clubs...most just dont get to the internet

Heh, This was more a post for the humor aspect... :)

Bio - as Duckhead stated - This can be found anywhere. Heck, I recall visiting a friend in North Carolina... He drove me past a property where a 4wd van was located - on the roof were mounted 2 bass seats and police moving type spot lights... Hmmm... LOL!

All in jest - Maybe on my part I could have removed the location - i.e. Texas... though I simply expected such to be viewed as an extreme "style" in hunting :)

Cheers all!

BOOYAHH!!!!

Suck on that, Texans! :D

It must be tough to live in El Paso and feel that way about Texans? Mala suerte! But then does El Paso really consider itself a part of Texas? Probably not...

Spitz is ok, actually one of those rare breed of westerners not stricken with Texas envy.;).

Was going for a little bit of irony being that I live in Texas and derrogated Texans with the remark. Must have been missed by that big Texan brain of yours though. ;)

Thanks NHY. Us Texans have to stick together, too many out there think that every Texan hunts behind a high fence and pattern deer according to the timer on the feeder. They sure got that high fence part wrong. :D

Hopefully I'll have some Texas javelina pics to post next month. We'll see . .

A bachelor would be in heaven - living in a tree stand of that sort! :)

I can see the college single now, "Rut? Oh, you mean that seasonal ~ deer rut? Heck - I rut here all year round!" LOL!

Heh, 20 some years ago - I rented a 5 acre property with a caboose on it that had been "retro-fitted" for pretty good living conditions! (For a bachelor!) Had horse stall, and fenced in! I lived in my cubby hole of living quarters within my horse trailer (an actual trailer design... not actually in the horse section itself... ;) ) until the caboose was retro-fitted... Boy talk about being a young buck and the owner taking in my input for setting her up! It was "Rut - Ro" (The Jetsons) heaven!

LOL!

Guess that's supposed to be some more of your irony at work? I suppose I'll have to take NHY's vouch for you... I just get tired of the Texan bashing. It only takes a few and every states got some...

I don't even know most Texans, there's millions and millions more if you count the illegals here.

Wouldn't it be more correct to say, "most Texans I know and love to hunt with" are such and such? I mean Moosie, don't take words out of his post or put words in even though you may know and love millions of guys who say they are Texas guys.

...sounds like Tom is saying you probably love a bunch of wannabe Texans.

Just sayin....

Hogs, dogs and lace, now here's some Texan huntresses, eh?

I was just saying there's a difference between "all Texans" and "all Texans I know", no matter who uses either phrase. Those two phrases definitely have different meanings.

Is hunting with a dog or a horse still hunting on your own?
