I know alot of you guys go into the woods/wilderness for days on in during hunting season, but I would think some here might share my idea of camping.
I usually try to plan 2-4 weeks in advance, I try to get a ground floor and a nonsmoking room.
They are clean, have cable tv, free internet, a nice SOFT bed and most importantly...a bathroom with running water.
Next...when I get hungry, I call room service and tell them to fire up the grill. I wish I had a before pic, but man it was GOOD.
Also...a GPS is a must...everything looks the same.
If you get bored during the night after the evening hunt, you can go to the in house watering hole for a adult beverage, if like me you don't drink, just tag along with the others to watch all the drunk folk.
ALSO...there are usually some thirsty does in there...that don't know when to say when.
And finally as an added bonus, when its warmer than normal...the sight seeing at the pool is great.
Now who doesn't agree that my idea of camping rocks! A far sight better than a pop-up or tent, gathering firewood, stinking to high heaven and all the bugs and critters.
