Van Halen was my Favorite band in HS back in the early 80’s , to many great songs to pick just one

First concert I went to was Van Halen. Probably lost half my hearing that night. Eddie ranks as one of my favorite guitarists all time. RIP Eddie.

Dave, I tease you about Gene, but one of the many good things he did was to take Eddie to New York for a recording session.

Another thing in my personal life about Eddie that I wont forget is our daughter lied to her father and I about where she was going when she went to see him once. Coke was being used pretty liberally at that time and that was our concern about his shows at that time, plus he did not sound like Linda, Emmy Lou, or even Pat Boone (-:
