I just got some Reloader 26 and I have heard that this is great stuff for the 7MM Mag. I plan on working up a load with some 160 Accubonds. Anybody had any success with this combo?

I have used in a 7mag with 160 ABs with good success. My 300wm really likes it with 180ABs 3100 fps well under MOA.

I use it with 150gr. ABLR, 150 and 162gr. ELDX. 160gr Sierra Gamekings and 168gr Berger VLD Hunting.

Also works great in 243 Win with 100+ gr bullets.
And 120 gr Gamekiings out of my 257 Roberts.

The R-26 is a very slow burner. Works extra well for heavy for caliber bullets in 25" plus barrels.
I got better speed and accuracy in my 7mm with the R-23 when I used the 162gr bullets. The 26 will work great also but I got an average of 85fps more speed with the R-23 as I said.

Interesting.

I'm getting 25fps + with RL26 over RL23 with 150 gr and over bullets.
This from a 24" Savage 111.

As they say for load data. "My rifle is different from your rifle".

RL26 is AWESOME!!! I'm getting 2960fps with 160 grain Accubonds using RL26. My rifle is a Remington Model Seven SS in 7 SAUM with a factory 22" barrel. I've gotten it up to 3000fps with the 160s, but felt that it was a little hot.

Good luck.

Finally got some loads out to the range today. First impression, I am very impressed with the Reloader 26. My best group today was 0.600" with an average velocity of 3013 FPS with an Accubond. I am going to play with the charge and seating depth a bit more to see if it can get any better. So far though I'll take it.

Interesting...
It's fairly plentiful here in central PA.

Been using it in my 284 recently. Really picked up the velocities.
