This sure feels gross. I know some people are so deeply jaded that they probably like to see it being aired out in the open. But I find it pretty sleazy that the so-called Leader of the Free World is doing car commercials at the white house for/with one of his closest advisers. Idiocracy is literally a documentary at this point.

No one is naïve enough to think that corruption is new. But no one but the most loyal of loyalists would think what we're seeing is the same as what we've seen in the past.

Lastly, shoutout to all the HTers who used to care about the Constitution but no longer do. You've confirmed what the rest of us suspected.

I work for an agency that reveled in requiring pseudo justifications for your existence every year at performance review time. We were also required to submit a weekly summary of what we did the previous week. I wrote mine out pretty much verbatim from my job description, as @Sytes did.

I would occasionally take heat from my supervisor about “not being more detailed”. My stance was don’t be a lazy supervisor and you would know what I’m doing.

Everyone likes to focus on the dearth of good employees, but possibly the larger issue is lack of good supervisors and leaders.

I worked for a power company and when you were hired you were given a bag of marbles. Every time you f@cked up you lost one of your marbles. If someone was to lose all of their marbles, they were moved into management.

If anyone cares to remember their logic class from when they were in college (I hated that class), this is what basically makes up the difference between something being valid and something being sound. You can be valid without being sound, but you can't be sound without being valid. So yeah, context does basically make or break the argument or problem.

Its entertaining to be attacked and told I have a side whenever I am critical of a politician. (I get it from both sides).
To have someone trying to use my comments as a tool, virtue signaling to his clan that he won't tolerate derogatory statements against his side.
