I work in the trades at my company it takes us about 6 years to make a journeyman and another 2 for them to be actually worth a shit. I fully understand what you’re saying but on the flip side of that you have multiple 80 year olds that have made so much money from who knows where that they are to disconnect from actual peopleAnd building a home was probably never envisioned to require a permit. But times change, you have to adapt. I don't think it's unreasonble to expect it to take 1-4 cycles (depending on the person and the house/senate) to become serviceable at their job.
