I just finished restoring this piece. I found one similar online that's missing The 2 side pieces of the medallion. $2500 on line.
I think this should be worth $4500. Add in historical value ?
It has the original upholstery also. It belonged to VP Curtis.
What is showing is what I had to work with.

Fancy jigsaw puzzle work and making something out of nothing Dave!

What treatment did you have to do to the upholstery? Looks too clean to be 100 + years old.

(PS: I didn’t know about VP Curtis and his Kansas territory/Kansas roots. Or that he is the first VP with Native American ancestry (Kaw))

The upholstery has probably been done but not in many years.
I'm not up on his VP stats just what I found on The Net. His ancestry is ??? Politics lol
