Reduced loads for 30-06?

One of my daughters shoots is the Hornady reduced recoil ammo with good success. 125 grain SSTs. Noticeable recoil reduction.
I used the same for my daughters .308.
She liked them. Her Tikka not so much.
Subsequently, she decided hunting wasn't her thing. I've been patient with this round but I've finally given up.
Still have 2-3 boxes I'll never use.

I'm looking for anyone that has used reduced loads in a 30-06. My wife has a Tikka 06 that I want my daughter to use for hunting season this year. Right now I have some 150 grain Barnes TSX loads worked up. I was contemplating trying a 130 grain bullet. Has anyone used these at all?
What is the target species? You could reduce velocity to mellow out recoil. I would suggest a softer bullet for that though to ensure expansion. If elk are on the menu I would stick with the 150 grain TSX. Having said that a 130 grain TSX with enough velocity would do well also.
