Recommendations for .270 non-lead <130gr bullets?

I use the 117 in my 270, and it is wicked against antelope. Steve at Hammer says they use the 117 for elk, though I have larger calibers for those.

59.0 of H4350 is 3300fps.

It appears the solution has been found. I got my Bell and Carlson stock at least a month ago, mounted it, then never made time to test it... until last night.


The Barnes (factory box) group was just under 3/4". The Accubonds I just happen to already have in the magazine so I shot them. That exact same box of Barnes was a 5-6" spread previously.

I'm still a little bummed to see the nolser group so big but at least I have a something that works! I actually have three or four more boxes of ammo, both factory and hand loads to shoot too. Hopefully a few of them hold tight groups as well.
