I like this guy not sure why the GF wants the other buck instead. Moved this bait a couple hundred yards back into the bush to try and get better daylight action there

I have a trail cam curse between forgetting to turn on, no SD card or then plain not working. This camera worked one day before dying. Here is a few buck that are on it. Now to reload some shells as the GF and I are doing an all day sit in the deer stand tomorrow. Something is going to die

C'mere deer!
Such a foreign concept but I would be tickled to see good deer such as your cameras catch.
Doubly envious since the whitetails took heavy fatalities from EHD in large swaths of Montana this Fall. 6-7 years of recovery probably.
Keep after them.
Great thread.

Deer are moving like crazy. Passed 8 or 9 bucks up in the first two hours of shooting light so far
Jealous. Good luck!

When I first saw that picture of the bone, I thought that almost looks like elk thickness.

Also those quarters weighed more than any caribou we've killed, that's hefty for sure.

This guy was at the other bait today. Too bad he broke half his beam off.

What a day in the deer stand. The GF passed up 16 different bucks today. Must have been a hot doe in the area cause buck action was insane. Had a 140’s come through chasing a doe but between thick bush and never stop moving no shots were offered.

Blizzard tomorrow so will take the day off and be back after them Wednesday or Thursday

We got a big blizzard today. Going to try tomorrow. They should move good after the storm. We will see if we can even get up to my usual hunting grounds. It’s a non maintained road so we will see. Will have the shovel in the truck and hope for the best

After our blizzard we got around 10” of snow and it blew and access is extremely limited now. The GF was sick of fighting the snow and shot this doe tonight. I’m going to need my sled to get back into my deer baits after the storm. Tried the other day and got my truck stuck worse then any other time in my life
