Lots of night movement for this time of year it seems. Good luck I'd sure like to see him in a grip n grin.

I'll give him until the rut is over like always, but if he doesn't show up by then the freezer will get some meat from one of them other boys hopefully.Chief or bust
I might of peed a little.Awesome find. I bet that made your week.

Well where it laid was probably under 2 - 4ft of water from march to late June. So that helped because there is a ton of porcupines in the area. That’s beautiful, congratulations!! I can’t get over the fact it laid there that long and is still in that good of shape! Around here they’re all chewed up and missing whole tines within a week or two of being dropped.
I agree here. Can not tell for sure, but I would not bet that it is him. The Browtines look very different and that is one part of a bucks antlers that change the least.
Also it appears that the recent buck, has a streak with some brown hair down the top of the nose, Chief is snow white. Beautiful cape on Chief.
I was going to point out the same thing. That buck doesn't look 9 1/2 years old based on the face and hair coloring in the face as well as the body structure. That buck looks well in shape and stout. The straight flat back on the most recent pic doesn’t have the sagging back line of a 9.5 year old deer
