I have a budget of about 900 to include bow, decent sight, etc. I’ve narrowed down to the PSE Drive or PowerMax. Any thoughts or opinions on a different set up? Much thanks!

I personally would go with a drive. The power max is (for lack of a better word) a cheaper made bow. The pse is a hair faster but not by much. But the drive is a very smooth bow and honestly was one of my favorite bows I've owned. But that being said that is my preference and you would be better suited to go shoot both and then decide

Yeah that’s the plan. Gonna shoot them both in a couple weeks. Any thoughts on a good sight? Want something decent around 150-200 range. Much appreciated everyone!

Id recommend a 3 pin slider for western hunting. You really can't beat anything made by montana black gold. Very durable.
I actually gave my old mgb ascent verdict to my fiance and I now shoot a spot Hogg fast Eddie xl. I like it more than my mbg but just because of the size and function of the dial. For $150-$200 I would look hard at the mbg ascent verdict (can be found for under $200) or the mbg ascent whitetail. Or i would try to find a used spot hogg fast eddie. Spot hogs are built like tanks.
If you want a fixed pin I really like CBE, cooper john, sword and spot hogg.

Thanks Ajax! the Mbg ascent verdict was exactly what I’ve been eyeing. That’s probably what I’ll go with.

No problem, also i would try to get your hands on a bear approach hc and Quest thrive. Both are good bows in that same price point and would be worth shooting if possible. Oh and the mathews tactic.

I’m assuming you want a new bow? There may be some really solid used bows out right now. My local archery shop has sold dozens of the Matthews Vertix to guys with year or two old bows. Might be worth considering.

Yeah I’ll look for into that. There’s a couple great Archery shops close by. Thanks!
